Royden McKillop

It is with great sadness the family shares the passing of Royden Paul McKillop, which occurred at his home on Saturday, March 4th, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.  Born 1948, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Kenneth J. and Doris (Graham) McKillop.  Royden was owner of Hayward and Warwick, which he was employed with for over 50 years.  His greatest joys in life were his family and his store. 

Royden is survived by his loving and devoted wife Suzan (Keirstead) of Saint John and her dear parents Hazen and Zelda Keirstead; son Craig McKillop (Karen Magennis) of Saint John; daughter Karen McKillop (Matt Tibbits) of Saint John; step-children Cory Darrell (Jacky) of Calgary, AB, Josh Darrell (Natalie Scholten) of Halifax, NS, Bobby Haynes of Fredericton; brother Robert McKillop of Saint John; grandchildren Amanda and Austin McKillop, Lyrik, Hazen, Ashlyn, Brayden, Sylvanah Darrell; great-granddaughter Carissa McKillop; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides his parents, Royden was predeceased by several brothers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, March 7th from 2 to 8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, March 8th at 11 a.m.  Interment will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory of Royden may be made to The Joshua Group, Safe Harbour, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
