Robbie Griffin

GRIFFIN, Donald Robert Joseph. The death of Robbie Griffin, of Moncton and formerly of Saint John, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on April 6, 2017 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on December 6, 1970 he was the son of Lorraine (Sadie) and the late Donald Joseph Griffin.

He was employed as the Inventory Controller with Kent’s Distribution Centre in Moncton for the past several years.  Robbie was an avid pool player, loved music and enjoyed his many fish tanks.

Besides his mother, Lorraine (Sadie) Griffin, of Saint John, he is survived by his wife Shawna Douthwright, his beautiful and cherished daughter Chloe Marie Griffin, both of Moncton, his brother Michael Anthony Griffin (Sandra), his sister Dawn Marie Burgess and her husband Mark, all of Saint John, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, April 9th, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  A Funeral Service will take place from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 10th at 2:30 p.m. Donations in Robbie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, ALS Society or to the Oncology Department at the Moncton City Hospital. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
