Raymond Edward Ferris

Raymond Edward Ferris passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with his family at his side. Born July 27, 1959 he was the son of the late Donald and Margaret (Carter) Ferris. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother-in-law Clinton Whalen.

He is survived by his daughter Jessica Ferris of Surrey, BC, son Cody Ferris (Rhiannon Cormier) of Saint John; stepson Dustin Guitar of St. Andrew’s, his cherished grandchildren Angelina, Anthony, Ava and Raymond. He is also survived by his siblings Marie Whalen of Saint John, Pat Gomke (Dieter), Donald Ferris (Sherry) of Saint John, Billy Ferris (Debbie) of Moncton, Linda Butler (Roy) of Saint John, Carol Good (Barry) of Pickering, ON, Gordon Ferris (Mary Theresa) of Quispamsis and Pamela Harquail (Rick) of Maple Ridge, BC; his girlfriend Rebecca Loutfi; his faithful friend Rosie and his feline companions Nibbler and Larry; and several nieces and nephews. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, October 26 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 27 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Raymond may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
