Pauline Marie McDade

Pauline Marie McDade of Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 11, 2018. Born August of 1922, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Ann (Butler) Connors. Pauline worked for Thornes Hardware as a clerk for 23 years. She was a faithful member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the CWL. Pauline is survived by sisters Rose McMillan (William) of Ontario and Eleanor Connors of Saint John; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband Gregory D. McDade; brothers Gerard, Arthur, Phillip, Lewis and Charles Connors; sisters Rita Connors and Mary Voorhees.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424)  with visitation on Saturday and Sunday April 14th and 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street.  Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in Pauline’s memory can be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, Romero House or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the SJRH for the heartfelt kindness shown to Pauline. Special thanks to Dr. William O’Brien and to the Staff of 3BS.  Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
