Patricia K. Connolly

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Patricia Kathleen Connolly which occurred at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 13th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  Born 1939, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Dorothy (Harris) Logan.  In her earlier years, Pat was a Legion #2 Member.  She was an avid dart player, enjoyed her Wednesday morning bowling and loved bingo.  Later on in life, she enjoyed discovering treasures at yard sales.

Pat is survived by her children Valerie Kilpatrick (Bob), Barb March, Rob Connolly (Monique), Dawn Weston (Rodney); grandchildren Theresa Keith (Greg), Tricia Layton (Chris), Sara Hooton and Hudson Weston; great-granddaughters Abigail and Lauren; step-grandchildren Mark Mazerolle (Wendy), Elizabeth McEwen (Matt), Daniel Mazerolle (Amy); step-great-grandchildren Ryan, Mitchell, Sophia, Charlotte and Olivia; sisters Barbara Burgess (Bob), Marion King (Murray); brothers Jamie Logan (Judy), David Logan (Doreen).  She was known as Aunt Patsy to many nieces and nephews.

Pat lived her last 20 years in Tracadie, NB with her best friend Emile LeBouthillier.  She will be sadly missed by his children; Antoinia, Laurie, Eric, Rachel, and Keven; grandchildren Marie-Myriame, Marc-Olivier and Emma; great-granddaughter Magalie.

Pat was predeceased by her husband James “Jim” Connolly; sisters Jean Coughlan (Don), Mary Leger (Laurie), Dorothy Peters (Frank), Eileen Lewis (Jude); brothers Bobby Logan (Shirley) and Fred Logan (Joan).

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, July 17th from 2 to 8 p.m.  A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Monday, July 18th at 1 p.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
