Norma Leah (McLeod) Sherwood

Surrounded by her loving family, Norma Leah Sherwood, wife of Sandy Sangster passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 6, 1954 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Norman and Helen (Stapledon) McLeod.

Norma worked for Bell Aliant Canada for 28 years and was very proud of her work. She was very dedicated to her family and loved having her family over for dinners and serving too much food, she loved spending time with her family and friends at the trailer.

She is survived by her husband Sandy who loved her more than anything in this world, her children and grandchildren Andrea, Tim and Morgan, Kyla, Bruce, Alyson and Stephanie, and Keith, Kendra, Evan and Leah, her canine companion Bernie and so many family and friends that she loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 2 to 6 p.m. By request please no flowers. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Norma may be made to the Palliative Care Unit SJRH, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
