Nancy Marie (Bowes) Eatman

It is with heavy hearts yet appreciation for a life well lived, that the family of Nancy Marie (Bowes) Eatman announces her peaceful passing which occurred in her 68th year on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Alice (Hogan) Bowes.

Nancy worked at Canada Post for over 35 years, where she made many lifelong friends along the way. Nancy and her sister Theresa were inseparable. She loved attending yard sales and enjoyed the thrill of a bargain.  She was a class clown, and was a huge animal lover, especially when it came to her feline friends Winston and Abbie.  Nancy was kind-hearted, nurturing and would do anything for anyone.  She especially loved and was most proud of her children and grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her loving children; Timothy Eatman (Tina Osborne), Terri-Lynn Eatman (Dan McGraw) and Bradley Eatman (Alita Wong). She is also survived by her brother Gerald Bowes of Ottawa, Ontario and her cherished grandchildren; Timothy, Cassandra, Keenan, Kendra, Kyler, Terrell and Julia. Nancy is also survived by her niece Michelle (Bowes) Sweeney and nephew Steven Bowes.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her husband Robert Eatman, brother Donald and sister Theresa Bowes, who passed on February 20th, 2018. She is also predeceased by infant brothers; James and William.

Nancy will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation hours taking place on Friday, March 16th, 2018 between 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 17th at 10:00 AM from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

To know Nancy, was to love Nancy, she was a best friend to many and will be forever missed by all who knew her.
