Michael Roy Harnish

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Roy Harnish which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 7, 2018 after a lengthy illness.  Born in Sudbury, ON on August 28, 1957 to the late Frank Sr. and Shirley (Flowers) Harnish and was the loving husband to wife Brenda Thomas. 

Along with his wife Brenda, he is survived by his son Michael Jr., daughters; Amy and Alisha, 9 grandchildren, brothers; Murray, Wallace, Frank (Bonny) and Troy (Bonnie); sisters Tanya Dempsey(David), and Mary Johnson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Michael was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Natasha and his grandchildren Faith and Michael. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  A funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1pm with interment to follow in Fernhill Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations in Michael’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
