Maxine Helen Kirkpatrick

The death of Maxine Helen Kirkpatrick of Golden Grove occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday July 24th, 2013. Born April of 1929 in Hanford Brook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Blanche (Buchanan) Rector. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; she was a member of the St. Mary’s –St. Bartholomew’s Church. Maxine enjoyed a game of Bingo, puzzles and had a passion for bird watching and the outdoors.
Maxine is survived by four sons Cecil Kirkpatrick (Debra), Gary Kirkpatrick (Roseanne), Randall Kirkpatrick (Janice) and Stephen Bacon (Bonnie); six daughters Linda Trail (Raymond), Susan Gilmore (Terrance), June Warnock (Ronald), Ellen Kirkpatrick, Jill Gilmore (Richard) and Kathy Ninz (Tom); 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers Allan Rector (Pauline) and Earle Rector (Berta); several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Maxine was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, James W. Kirkpatrick, sister Josephine Bacon and granddaughter Estelle Trail.

Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, (646-2424) with visitation on Friday July 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday July 27th at 10:00 a.m. Private family interment to take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
