It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Mary Holland of Shannex Embassy Hall, Quispamsis who passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday January 20th, 2018. Born in Barow-upon-soar, England on April 23, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Harriett (Smith) Fuller. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked for Colonial Inn in the housekeeping department. Mary was an avid gardener and took great pride in her colorful flower beds- including her favourites, sweet peas and lily of the valley. She is survived by sons Frank (Sue) of England and Ian (Kim) of Quispamsis; daughters Rosemary Holland (Tom) of Saint John and Carol O’Brien-Boucher (Pierre) of Ottawa; sisters Joan of Alberta and Nellie of Nova Scotia; grandchildren Austin, Neil, Corissa, Brandon, Corey, Marlee and Evan; 8 great-grandchildren ; nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Alfred in 2015; a granddaughter Sarah Armstrong; brothers Ralph and John and a sister Jessie.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held from the former St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road on Tuesday January 23rd, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Following the funeral interment to take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
