My husband and I both worked with Mary at Adjusters & Appraisers many years ago. Mary was such a hard worker and could accomplish so many things. I used to help her fold Newsletters for the Insurance Institute and could never keep up with her. Finally, they got her a folding machine but I think she could do it just as fast. Mary was an amazing person.

Our condolences for your loss.

I am stunned and greatly saddened to hear of Mary's passing. She was such an exceptional woman always helpful. My Mom, Anne Weston-Ferris, life member of OES #14, lived with me for several years prior to her passing and every month Mary would call to see if Mom wanted to go to Star. She was so patient and kind to Mom and to me. I knew Mary as well through RBC where I worked and she always came in with a smile and a "Hey there" for me and asking about Mom. Many organizations will miss her work and attention to detail, her dedication and absolute love for each of them.

To her family, I am so sorry for your loss yet so happy for the memories you must have with this wonderful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I was so shocked to read of Mary's passing in the paper this morning. She was certainly a larger than life woman, so kind and friendly. I first met her when I moved to Lakewood Heights 24 years ago and she came to my door on behalf of a charity. When she saw my dalmatian, Sparky, she came in, sat down and told me all about her animals including her last little guy, Rocky. She was such a nice lady, so devoted to animals and I'd meet up with her on our daily walks and we'd have a chat. She was so down to earth it was like meeting up with an old friend. I'm so. so sorry for your loss.

I lived a few doors down from Mary and I remember two things, her love of animals and her VW she drove for many years.

We moved away before I could grow up to get to know her better, but even still she made an impression on me as young as I was. Deepest sympathies to the family, she was quite a lady!

We will miss this amazing lady whom we have known for over 50 years. She loved our Boston Terrier, Axel, almost as much as we did and the feeling was definitely mutual. On our walks he would stubbornly not allow us to pass her driveway without going in for a visit (she always had good treats!). Even if we KNEW she wasn't home ......... he would have to go up to the front door for us to ring the doorbell. He would sit and wait and wait and wait and EVENTUALLY decide "well - maybe she ISN'T home ...." and only then would he continue on his walk. Lovely lady and will be sadly missed.

I was sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Mary was an officer for me when I was WGM in OES and was a lovely lady. She always had a ready smile and was so friendly. . I can still remember her bringing her little dog to meetings where he would be so quiet sleeping in the little bed she would make with her pet carrier and placed under her chair.
My sincere sympathy to each of you.
