Marjorie Viola Williams

It is with heavy hearts the family of Marjorie Viola Williams, loving wife of the late Clifford “Kip” Williams, announces her passing on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born 1926 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lulu (Porter) Long. Marjorie enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing but most of all she cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy (Buddy) Peterson; son Jim (Deborah) Williams; brothers Murray, Charles (Grace) and Robert (Hazel) Long; sisters Vera Vadnier, Mary (James) Darrell and Pauline (Allen) Rector; grandchildren Shawn (Beth) Peterson, Ryan Peterson, Angela (Liam) Walsh and Brian (Stacie) Williams; great-grandchildren Brendan, Kaelan, Ethan, Julia, Alexander and Ryder; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son John Williams; brothers Lee and Jack Long; sisters Edith Robinson, Lois Archer and Eleanor McAllister and great-granddaughter Abbygail Peterson.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the nurses and staff of Cedar House, Loch Lomond Village for the wonderful care given to Marjorie and our family over the last couple of years.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday November 17, 2017 at 12 Noon. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, the Loch Lomond Village or to the charity of one’s choice.
