Marie Edmay Paradis

PARADIS, Marie Edmay- Marie Edmay Paradis wife of Levite Paradis of Saint John passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 26th, 2007. Born 1931 in St. Andre to the late Jerry and Suzanne (St.Amand) Michaud.

Besides her husband Marie is survived by son Robert Paradis (Monique) of Edwards, ON; her daughters Susan Cyr of Grand Falls, NB and Sandi Beckwith (Jeff) of Quispamsis, NB; six granddaughters Randi (Marc), Melanie, Amanda, Kylie, Emilie and Samantha; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by a daughter Gail Paradis, and 17 brothers and sisters.

Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She grew up in Grand Falls and married Levite on December 21st, 1949 in Saint John. They travelled the world together and settled to raise their family in Grand Falls and were married for 57 years. Marie loved her family, and especially her granddaughters. She will be missed terribly.
