Marie Augusta Richard

With heavy hearts, the family of Marie Richard announces her passing, which occurred on September 17, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Marie was born on August 31, 1934; the daughter of Anna (Hayward) Jeffries, and the loving wife of Jerome Richard. In addition to her husband, left to mourn are her sons Trevor (Shawna) and Wayne (Cindy), daughter Catherine Michaelson (Rick), son-in-law Kier Adams, sisters Edna Hann, Linda (Billy) Day, Gladys Parks, and Audrey White. Marie is also survived by her grandchildren Colton, Brandon, and Dawson; Krista, Katie and Jody; Hunter, Lisa, Ricky, Scott, Randy and Jason, as well as great-grandchildren Shawn, Christopher, Bailey, Benjamin, Baylee, Adrian, Jack and Merrisa. In addition to her mother, Marie was pre-deceased by her daughter Bonnie, brother Stanley Cripps, and her sister, Dorothy Crossman. In keeping with Marie’s wishes, a private family service will be held. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA-Animal Rescue, or the East Saint John Food Bank would be greatly appreciated by the family.
