Margaret Enid (Dineen) Wallace

With heavy hearts the family of Margaret Enid (Dineen) Wallace announces her peaceful passing, which occurred on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her family at her side. Born November 5, 1937 in St. Stephen, NB she was the daughter of the late John and Althea Ella (McCutcheon) Dineen.

Margaret graduated from Mount Carmel Academy in 1955. She loved her family and friends and cherished her time with her grandchildren. She loved country music and faithfully listened to the Sunday Night Country Jamboree. She also enjoyed watching NHL hockey especially Wayne Gretzky and Sidney Crosby.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children Twyla Wallace (Cathy), Shaun Marie Doucette (Joseph) and Arthur Daniel Wallace (Shelly); their father Arthur Wallace; cherished grandchildren Morton Wallace, Katelyn Wallace, Jessica Wallace, Adam and Julia Doucette; siblings Shirley Wallace (Donald), Marie Gerrior (James), John Dineen, James Dineen (Julie), Patricia McDonald (Ronald), Frank Dineen and Daniel Dineen (Donna); several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, September 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Mental Health, Seniors’ Resource Center or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
