Hi Noel,

I heard about Margie and wanted to pass along sincere condolences - and a big Irish hug, to boot.
At the tender age of 7 I attended your wedding and recall it being such an EPIC day - so much fun, cousins, laughter - probably a tipsy aunt or uncle floating around. Moreover you guys were my first "hippy" couple as a youngster - I still recall the VW bug with peace symbol decals. You were also one of those rare couples that set an example for young minds of what a relationship could be - it could be a magical union of two lovely souls in cahoots for the long haul.

I know you and the girls will miss her dearly. I picture her in the field picking blueberries or heading down the path at the cottage for a dip.
Mom always encouraged me to find someone special because life is just so much richer when you have someone to walk with, hand in hand. I know she cherished that about your relationship - and, in turn, you two set a fine example for the rest of us - if not a hard act to follow.

Love always and hugs to the girls,

Patrick

To Noel and Family,
I regret that distance makes it impossible to join Helen, Carle and Terry at the burial mass tomorrow, and to be able to offer my condolences to you and your family in person. My thoughts on Margie go way back to the very early days. We first met Marg when your trips to Halifax became more frequent. remember Noel....coming to stay with The Higgins family in Lower Sackville and Margaret joining us for dinners . Our mother Winnie, was delighted that you had found the "special " one. I am sending you a HUG from Ontario and I offer my deepest sympathy to you ,Jen, Nat and families at this time of sorrow.
