M. Evelyn (Williams) Feicht

July 27, 1951 ~ November 26, 2015 (age 64) 64 Years Old

With heavy hearts, the family of Marcia ‘Evelyn’ Feicht announces her passing, which occurred on November 26th, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Evelyn was born in Saint John on July 27, 1951; a daughter of the late Ralph and Gretta (Rae) Williams. She graduated from Simonds High School in 1969, and then received her Bachelors of Music in 1973 from Acadia University, followed by her Bachelors of Education in 1974 from UNB Fredericton. A gifted music teacher, Evelyn taught at School District 8 for many years, and was also a member of choirs at both Park Avenue United and Silver Falls United Churches. 

Left to mourn are her sons Matthew (Amanda) and Bradley, sister Marilyn Williams (Michael Horrobin), grandchildren Brooklyn and Kolton, the father of her children and love of her life, Matthias Feicht, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Marcia’s life will be held on Monday, November 30th at 10:00 a.m, from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Long Reach United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA – Animal Rescue, the NB Music Festival, or Hestia House would be appreciated by the family.
