Linda D. McIntyre

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Linda Diane (Walsh) McIntyre which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015.  Born 1948, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Merlin and Grace (Colpitts) Walsh.  In her earlier years, Linda was a great artist and enjoyed writing poetry.  She loved her cats very much.

Linda is survived by her spouse Mark Albert of Saint John; daughter Lisa Gagnon (Jerome) of Grand Bay; sisters Debbie (Stephen) Doukas of Saint John, Sherry (Roy) Field of BC; brother Gary Walsh of Saint John; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, as well as nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her son Dana Hanson and sister Heather Walsh Swan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A private graveside service will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
