Linda Diane (Wood) Donaldson

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Linda Diane Donaldson, announces her passing which occurred on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 2, 1949 she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Cobbett) Wood.

Linda loved her family, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching tennis and was a member of the Stephenson Towers Walking Club.

She is survived by her son Jeff; daughter Jennifer Richard (Simon); cherished grandchildren Brenden Donaldson, Katie Joy Richard, Kelsie Jean Belmore and Kalie Lynn Belmore; brother John Wood (Patricia); sisters Cindy Wood, Cathy Madden and Carol Wood; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be celebrated from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m., followed by a reception at 40 Stephenson Tower Drive. For those who wish remembrances in memory of Linda may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
