Laurette J. Sutton

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Laurette Sutton, wife of the late Joe Sutton, which occurred on January 15, 2017, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Riviere-Verte, NB, on June 15 1926, she was a daughter of the late Léon and Lottie (Ringuette) Bérubé. Laurette was a hairdresser who operated her Salon in her home. She was an avid bowler and bowled with many leagues through the years.
She is survived by her son; Robert “Bob”of Saint John, her sisters Léontine(Guy Beaulieu)Rivière-Verte,Dorella(Arthur Martin)Saint-Anne of Madawaska and special a nephew Marcel Berube Rivière-Verte; nieces, nephews, canine companion “Candy”. Along with her parents and husband, Laurette was predeceased by her brothers; Robert(Marie-Mai), Aldéo(Alfreda), Alphé(Dolores) and her sisters; Marthe(Jean-Marie Martin) and Rollande(Will Thibodeau). Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) visitation will be held on Wednesday January 18th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday January 19th at 2:00 p.m. Followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.For those who wish, instead of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Salvation Army or any other organization of your choice.
