Darrell and Family - My heart aches for you at this time. Nobody is ever 'prepared' to lose a loved one. Doreen was like a second Mom to me on Old Black River Road, from the time I moved there at the age of 5, until I married and left at the age of 25! She was one of the sweetest person I have ever known. I so fondly remember the fun times we had around campfires @ Bennett Lake in Fundy National Park...those were the good ole days! Then, in later years, we became neighbors again! I was so excited to learn that you were moving across the hall from me! Loved Doreen's smiles...always a kind and gentle soul! We DO know that she is in a much better place now, and she will be busy preparing a place for us to follow when we are called. RIP dear lady..you will be missed! My condolences to all the family at this most difficult time! Love, Carol

I hope you find comfort at this difficult time from the "God of all comfort". (2 Cor. 1:3, 4) We never really are prepared for the death of a parent.

Dear Mr Buck & family: We are very sadden by the loss of a beautiful kind women. She was like a second mother to the "Richards" family and other children growing up on Old Black River Road. I remember that she would shelter us from the rain when we had to wait for the school bus in the morning and when ever she would see us she would always say "hi dear"! give us a hug and talk.
