Kevin Donald McCormick unexpectedly passed on September 2nd, 2017.  Husband of Nadine (Gallant) previously of Shediac.  Besides his wife he is survived by his parents Donna (Northorp) and Ralph McCormick, his brother Mark and Kim (Black), niece Hannah and nephew Noah, his twin brother Keith and Trish (Frost), chosen nephews Shawn, Michael and Jeffrey, his sister Patti and nephews Jacob, Benjamin and niece Baylee, his parents-in-law Leslie and Helene Gallant, sister-in-law Joline Bourgeois (Andre), nieces Ashley, Alysha, Kyana and Lexie and nephew and godson Caleb.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Charles and Marion McCormick and maternal grandparents Donald and Eileen Northorp, his aunt Michelle Hubbard, uncles David and William McCormick, and sister-in-law Lisa Melanson.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, spelunking, mud sliding and four wheeling with his many friends.  He was a graduate of Saint Malachy’s Memorial High School.  He was employed by the Canada Games Aquatic Center for many years as a lifeguard, swimming instructor and examiner.  After graduation Kevin attended the NSCC, Funeral Services Education Program (1993) and became a funeral director and was employed locally for several years.  From there he studied and became a Paramedic working in Cape Breton before coming to Saint John where he was employed with Ambulance New Brunswick.

He loved his three favorite boxers Pheonix, Mika and Roninand especially had cherished memories of Suka.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

His family welcomes relatives and friends to join them at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), on Tuesday from 2-8 pm.  Following cremation the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 45 Dollard Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00am.  Remembrances made to the Saint John SPCA or the PTSD Association of Canada would be appreciated.
