It has been many years since I have lived in Saint John and have spoken with Kevin, but as all who have known him, I will remember his fantastic smile and generous heart. I am so saddened to have just learned the news of him passing. My thoughts are with you.

Your son & husband was a fine young man and I was always very happy for the positive influence he had on my staff. Kevin always when coming in to the facility loved Brutus (dog) and no matter how busy he always asked how he was and gave him special attention. He shared his knowledge / skill with the staff. I always held your son & husband up as an example to my staff as to the character and attitude he emulated.

I know that it is difficult to understand tragedies like this, but we can call on our faith to help us deal with them. I take solace in the words of the Bible that tell us that those who mourn will be blessed.

My prayers will be for you and your family to see this through and keep strong. I know that God will shed his choicest blessings on you all.
