Kathleen Marie "Kathy" LeBlanc

Kathy LeBlanc passed at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her family on Friday April 13th, 2018. Born in December of 1943 she was the daughter of the late James and Nora Kathleen (Welling) Russell.  Kathy worked for the Public Works Department as an Accountant for 32 years retiring in 2004. She was Anglican by faith and was a faithful member of The Church of Christ the King. Kathy volunteered at the SJRH Oncology Department was active and involved in many activities welcoming passengers from the Cruise ships; a member of the FSNA, Ladies Card Club, Curves and Breakaway Bowling Club. She enjoyed the outdoors and time spent with family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Along with her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brothers Weldon, Earle and Fraser Russell; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Cecil Kirkpatrick and nephew Jim Kirkpatrick. Kathy is survived and will be missed by nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews; church family and many good friends.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday April 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from The Church of Christ the King Church, 2000 Loch Lomond Road on Tuesday April 24th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
