Judith “Judy” Ann Savoie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 1, 1947 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Glendon and Hazel Isabel (Marshall) Guthrie. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother James Guthrie; sister Shirley Bourque; step daughter Debbie Jones; great granddaughter Isabella Boyer; uncle Gordon Redstone; her feline companion Peanut.

Judy was member of the Lioness Club years ago, she was very devoted to her family, caring for her mother, and her children.

She is survived her daughters Lori Spencer (Arthur) and Paula Miller (Jeff); step daughters Lisa Marks and Heather Savoie (Aaron); brothers Brian Guthrie and Clifford Guthrie (Camy); sisters Jean Roy (Ronald), Bonnie Guthrie (John) and Ruth DuJohn (Paul); sister-in-law Barb Guthrie; cherished grandchildren John Miller (Samantha), Travis Boyer (Jessica), Allan White, Eric Orser (Brittany), Martin Marks, Laura Jones, Dean Fowler and Lydia Fowler; great grandchildren Dominick and Caleb McNeil and Olivia Boyer; special nephews and niece Tony Guthrie, Melissa Guthrie and Jeff DuJohn; aunt Stella Redstone; as well as several nieces and nephews and her feline companions Baby and Thomas.

Following cremation; a memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at  10 a.m. Remembrances in memory of Judy made be made to the Parkinson’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
