Joseph Raymond McGrath

It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Joe McGrath, who passed away on April 18th at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August of 1967 in Moncton he was the only son of Raymond and Gladys (McGivery) McGrath of Saint John. Joe worked for Sykes Enterprises as a floor manager and was an avid sportsman. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his only son Ryan; wife Loree McGrath of Saint John; aunts and uncles Nida Stuart (John) of Ontario, Gert Gill (Merv) of Saint John, Richard McGivery (Pat) of Quispamsis, Elaine Flood (Bob) of Rothesay, George McGivery of Ontario, Mary Gallagher of Rothesay, Pat Blackadar of Quispamis, Peter McGrath (Henrietta) of Willow Grove and Patty Dobson (Dino) of Rothesay, several cousins, friends and co-workers; mother and father-in-law Jack and Eileen Adair of Rothesay.

Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitations on Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday April 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in Joe’s memory can be made to Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
