Saddened to hear of Allen's passing. I met him in 1971 at Vocational School, we quickly became friends and for many years pretty much did everything together, fished, hunted, crib tournaments and just hung out together. Hardly a day went by that we didn't get together.
I have had many friends over the years but he was the last true buddy. We were inseparable.
As often is the case, are paths parted and we lost touch with each other. I thought of him often over the years. I should have made more effort to see him again.
