John "Jack" Orr Obituary

Surrounded by his loving family the death of John “Jack” Brian Orr occurred on March 29, 2018 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Robert and Gertrude (Campbell) Orr. He leaves the love of his life Sandra MacDonald.

He was a mechanic, drove taxi and trucking. He enjoyed working on cars and racing. He had an incredible sense of humour and enjoyed jokes.

He is survived by his sons; John (Pam), David (Shelley) and Mark (Elaine) all of Saint John, his step-children Cindy (Danny), Debbie (Marc), Larry, Stephen and David, his brother Robert (Florence) of Calgary, his sister Margaret Willar (Donald) of Saint John, his grandchildren; Mercedes, Caitlin (Mark), Kyle, Matthew (Alyssa), Jena, Jackson, Brianna and Devon and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes relatives and friends to join them at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm to honour Jack’s Life. The funeral service will take place at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 am. Following cremation a family burial service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
