Jennifer MacNeill

The death of Charlotte Jennifer (Webster) MacNeill occurred unexpectedly, in hospital in Halifax, on May 17, 2015 at the age of 63. Jennifer was fiercely and shamelessly proud to be the wife of Brian MacNeill, mother of Adam (Nicole) MacNeill and Lindy (Jonathan) VanAmburg, grandmother of Lauren, Abigail, Carter, Nathaniel and Lucas, daughter of the late Jean and Bryon Webster, sister of Leigh (Shirley) Webster, Gerry (Marylee) Webster, Helen (William) Wienand, and Ian (Nancy) Webster, sister-in-law to David (Maureen) MacNeill, Sandra MacNeill and Jimmy MacNeill, aunt and friend to many. Jennifer used her Masters in early childhood education for many years at Saint John-the-Baptist-King Edward school and had recently begun enjoying her retirement. She was an active member of St. Mark’s United Church and loved time with her sewing group. She was dynamic and full of life right to the end and loved a good laugh or story, especially about her family and friends. She worked hard to make sure her family could always be proud of her and loved to help people.

Please join us in celebrating her life and sharing her stories with visitation at Fundy Funeral Home (Westmorland Road) on Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 3 – 8 pm and a funeral to be held at St. Mark’s United Church (Dexter Drive) on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or a local charity you feel makes a difference would be appreciated.
