James "Jimmy" D. Boudreau

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James “Jimmy” Daniel Boudreau, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016. Born 1930, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joseph and Judith (Robichaud) Boudreau. Jimmy worked as a Steel Worker at the Saint John Dry Dock for over 43 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, his country place and gardening.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Arlene (Blizzard) of Saint John; son Fred Boudreau (Sandy) of Ontario; daughters Carol Brewer (Steven) of Saint John, Cheryl Sichmann (the late Gerald) of Norton; brother Leonard (Joan) of Norton, NB; sisters Rita Nadeau of Hartford, Conn., Ann Kilfoil (Kevin) of Sussex, NB; as well as 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his first wife Louise Ellis, brother Wally and sisters Evelyn and Doris.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, August 18th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 19th at 11 a.m. at the Fundy Funeral Home chapel followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jimmy may be made to the Central Wickham Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
