James Earle Kirkpatrick

It is with sadness that the family of James “Jim” Earle Kirkpatrick announces his passing which occurred unexpectedly on February 20, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1961 in Saint John, he was the son of Cecil and Patricia (Russell) Kirkpatrick. Jim was a member of Local 213 Pipefitters.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his time fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and ATVing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner Susan Curbishley; step-daughter Laura Greenwood; brothers Russell (Gisele), Doug (Bridget) and Stephen (Tiffany) Kirkpatrick; sister Linda (Carl) Campbell; grandson Desmond as well as several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Monday February 23, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday February 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. The family would appreciate donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
