When I began my teaching career at Lakewood Heights Irma was there - with fun, with support for a very new teacher, with music to brighten our days. What a wonderful woman! My condolences to all of you.

Irma was a loyal and loving friend to me when I taught with her at Latimore Lake School back in the 60's.
It was a difficult time for me with three small children to raise and an absentee husband at the time. Irma was my rock then.
.I followed her over the years as she became a musician and I always loved the times we were able to spend together.
She was a very special person and we shall all miss her immensely.
I so wanted to be there for her when she lost her wonderful husband, but I was in Seattle nursing my daughter who sadly passed away in September 19, 2015.
If only I had known she had such little time. How many times I wanted to drop in to see her. That's the way it is in life.
Please accept our sincere condolences during this time of intense sadness.

I am so sorry to learn of Irma's passing. She was my son's favorite teacher at lakewood Heights. I remember her telling us at home report time that she could pick out the kids who would go on to further education in life and my son was one she picked out....He is a professor at UNB today ! I met her a few times and she always asked about him and was so pleased to hear of his accomplishments, she truly cared about her former students. My sympathy to her family.....may she RIP.....she was a lovely woman with a great sense of humor....

Rest in Peace Mrs MacDonald . I had her as a supply teacher at Lakewood Heights growing up . She was firm, fair but with a great sense of humor. I met up with her again later in life as Mr. MacDonald handled my needs for the marriage license . Very nice people . Condolences to the family.

Many of us can say Irma was so very special to us as we grew up. She has touch so many people in her lifetime. With her ridiculous sense of humor and infectious laughter and all her little quips... she helped me through some very tough times.
