Howard William Beatty

It is with sadness, that the family of Howard “Howie” Beatty, announces his peaceful heavenly home going, surrounded by family on March 6, 2018.  He had been in the tender care of Kingsway Care Center for the last 2 and one half years.

Born on April 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Bill and Grace (Urquhart) Beatty of Hampton and Saint John, NB.  Howie was predeceased by his sister Ruthie Graham (Gordon).  He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Robinson (Arthur) and several nieces and nephews.  Our Family would like to thank Dr. Quinn, Jillian Ring, NP, as well as the staff of Kingsway Care Center for the love Howie has received.  A special thank you to Howie’s niece, Cindy, and all of the loving Care Attendants and staff in KV Neighbourhood.  You have all enriched our lives, especially Howie’s.  We will be forever grateful.

The family welcomes relatives and friends to join them at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), on Saturday, March 10, 2018,  from 2-4 and 6-8 pm to honor Howie’s Life.  The funeral service will take place at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 2:00 pm.  A family burial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances made to the Alzheimer Unit at KVCC or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
