Grace Estella (Bartley) Lee

Grace Estella Lee passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, at Kings Way Care Centre. Born in Easton, Maine on August 31st, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Alice (Flewelling) Bartley, and the loving wife of 53 years of the late Thomas Harold Lee. Grace was a wonderful Christian lady, known for her doughnuts and chocolate cake with boiled icing, and was a faithful member of Calvary Temple. Grace was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by her son Richard (Sandra), grandson Christopher (Kim) of Charlottetown, great-grandchildren Grace, Hannah, and Gabriel, chosen son Steven Barrett, and her little man Carter Eatmon-Leslie, as well as sisters-in-law Gema Bartley of Houlton, ME, and Jeanne Bartley of Florida. Grace was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Thomas Lee, daughter Karen Anne Lee, brothers Martin, Alden, Austin, Claude, Herman and Eugene Bartley, and sisters Velma Goodine, Katrina Burtchell, and Vivian Goodine. Grace’s family would like to thank the staff of Kings Way Care Centre and Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews, as well as her caregivers Cindy, Cynthia, Rhonda, and Brandi. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, with visitation being held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Calvary Temple, 83 Sydney Street, on Wednesday, February 28th at 11:00 am.  Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to Calvary Temple, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
