Gordon A. Bond

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gordon Bond announces his passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 26, 2016. Gordon was born in Kars on October 27, 1938; a son of the late Arthur and Ferne (Robertson) Bond. During his working years, he was in the financial planning and insurance fields. Surviving are his sons Bradley (Willow) of Winnipeg, Gregory (Toni) of Norway, daughter Krista Seamans (Jeremy) of Vancouver, brothers Lloyd (Marilyn) of Quispamsis and Dwight (Janet) of Hampton, sisters Della Cole (Harold) of Amherst, Mildred Miller (Wesley) of Fredericton, Donna Nutter (Murray) of Hampton, Cheryl Stewart (James) of Edmonton, and Zonya (Bradley) Russell of Quispamsis; grandchildren Solomon, Sarah, Rebekah, Aimee, Elisa (Patrick), Alexander, Matthew, and Jayden, as well as great-grandchildren Ava and Ayden. Along with his parents, Gordon was pre-deceased by his brothers Stewart, Donald, and Daryl.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point. For those who wish, remembrances to Bayview Cemetery, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
