Gloria McLennan

It is with great sadness the family of Gloria McLennan announce her passing which occurred at home surrounded by her loving family on April 22, 2018. Born in May of 1936 she is the daughter of the late Faye (Harper) Chipman and the loving wife of the late David McLennan. Gloria was a very kind and devoted woman who adored her grandchildren; she was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed her time at the Camp in Cambridge Narrows watching her garden grow and bird watching. Gloria worked for Canadian Income tax for over 18 years retiring in the early 90’s. She was a member of the “Thursday Night Card Club” which met faithfully for over 50 years. Gloria is survived by her sons David (Helen) of Warfield, BC, Tim (Trena Knight) of Gibson’s, BC and Peter (Lori) of Willow Grove; daughters Lori McLennan of Chilliwack, BC and Lisa Herrington (Bruce) of Willow Grove; 10 precious grandchildren Cassie, Kendle, Lucas, Leasha, Michael, Tyler, Colby, Abby, Katie and Mallory; sisters & brothers – in-law Gary McLennan (Elaine) of Riverview and Donna Ryan (David) of Saint John; half-brother Phillip Chipman of Grandbay-Westfield and step sister Eileen Hannah; several nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her mother and her husband; Gloria was predeceased by her sister Marion Chipman. and brother Douglas Chipman.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A celebration of Gloria's Life will be held at the H.O.P.E. Centre, 4347 Loch Lomond Road on Friday April 27th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A family celebration of her life will be held in the Summer, time and place to be announced.
