Germaine Mary Anne Thutewohl

Thutewohl, Germaine - It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Germaine Mary Anne (Boudreau) Thutewohl, loving wife to the late Peter Thutewohl, which occurred unexpectedly on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1923 in Six Roads, NB she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Gagnon) Boudreau. Germaine was the owner and operator of Pink Lady Beauty Salon for over 30 years. She loved to cook and enjoyed many hobbies such as quilting, crocheting, knitting and gardening. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter Beverley (William) Macdonald of Titusville; brother Gustave (Marie-Anne) Boudreau of Six Roads, NB; grandchildren Mark and Heather; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Lionel and Emile and sisters, Zita Swain, Estelle Boudreau, Leona Boudreau, Zita Boudreau and Demerise Boudreau.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (39 Tilley Street Hampton) on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of one’s choice.
