Gary Muise

It is with profound sadness and also a sense of peace for a life well lived, we the family announce the passing of John “Gary” Weldon Muise which occurred at home on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Gary was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on May 9th, 1963 to the late Benjamin G. and Emily (LeBlanc) Muise.

Gary lived and loved life to the fullest. Raised by his parents, Gary kept the principles they taught him throughout his entire life, be humble, be kind, have respect and be proud of who you are. He was devout catholic and we firmly believe that he is in heaven at this moment walking alongside his Mom “Pussy Willow”. Gary loved his family and friends, and they all loved him. We all know Gary was a famous artist who enjoyed drawing and coloring and happily gave his master pieces to every person that he came in contact with.  If there was one thing we will always remember about Gary it was his ability to sing and dance, did he ever love to dance! Daniel O’Donnell held a special place in Gary’s heart and he was fortunate to meet him at a concert several years ago, memories he held and shared always.  Attending quarter BINGO was another enjoyment that Gary shared throughout his life with his family and friends. He was also a Wrestling FANATIC! Gary enjoyed watching, attending and talking about anything related to WWE or WCW!

Recently, Gary was able to meet the newest addition to our family, Kelsey, who he loved very much.

He is survived by his loving brother and sisters; Raymond (Sue) of Alberta, Trudy Blake (Jack), Jacqueline Stewart, Betty Elliott, Pat Jones (Allan), Sharon Eagles (David) and Susan Muise.  He will be remembered by his cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Gary was a devoted, proud and special God Father to several.

In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his sister, Yvonne Hopkins.

Gary will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation hours will be held on Monday, September 25th 2017 between the hours of 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 26th at 12 noon from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
