Elsie Mary Brideau

With heavy hearts, the family of Elsie Mary Brideau announce her passing on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born in Portage River, NB on August 26, 1940 to the late Oneil and Helen (Legere) Arsenault and was the loving spouse for 19 years to Carter Jesso. 

In addition to Carter, Elsie is survived by her daughters; Linda (Norman Basque) Arsenault, Brenda (Chris) Miller and Darlene (Darren Knowles) Knight, sons; Gary and Larry Brideau, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brothers; Aldoria (Lucie) and Emile (Susan) Arsenault, and sister Aniacialle (Art) Savoie as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with Elsie’s wishes, there will be no visitation held. A funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 26 at 2pm with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elsie to the IWK Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
