Dawn M. Lirette

 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dawn Marie (Ackerley) Lirette which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016. Born 1959, in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Roberta I. (Guilfoil) Ackerley.  Dawn was a homemaker.  She loved children, enjoyed dancing and had a great love for animals, especially dogs. 

Dawn is survived by her son Christopher Lirette (Naomi Brown) of Saint John; brother Tom Ackerley (Tammy) of Saint John; sister Susan Carr (Dana) of Oromocto; grandchildren Kaylynn, Owen and Hope; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.  Besides her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her daughter Tracey Lirette, sister Pam Perrin and granddaughter Brooklyn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, October 7th, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m.  Following cremation, a Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, October 8th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.  Donations in Dawn’s memory may be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue, Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
