David Brian Doyle

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of David Brian Doyle, which occurred on Thursday February 23, 2017 at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in 1952 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Dorothy (Bourgeois) Doyle. David was employed as a welder for many years with Saint John Ship Building. He was past president and past service chairman of the Kinsmen Club and an avid bowler. He is survived by his sister Cindy Lynn Doyle of Saint John; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his partner Cathy Williams. The family would like to thank David’s caregivers Judy Bartlett and Jennifer Foster for the excellent care shown to him during his illness.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Catholic Church on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 12:05p.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Association, Heart & Stoke Foundation, Cancer Society, Stella Maris Catholic Church or the charity of one’s choice.
