Coleen: I was shocked to see Carolyn's obituary in the Chronical Herald newspaper today. I remember Carolyn as a young child when I visited Aunt Golda, here in Halifax with my mother Gerry Boot. Unfortunately, because of my Dad's (Norman) navel career we moved a lot and we lost track of your family. I know my mother often wondered what had happened to you girls after Aunt Golda passed away. My Mother passed away in 2004 but I know she would be pleased to know that I have been in touch with you. I am sending our deepest sympathy to you and your family and to Carolyn's family. I wish I lived closer and I would have gone to the funeral and met you all. Please take care of yourselves and God Bless.

Carolyn always had such a wonderful energy, anyone who knew her loved her, she was a pleasure to work with, if anyone had a problem she would be the first to help if she could, her bubbly personality endeared her to everyone, children loved her, we always told her she should have been a den mother, she would have been so good at that, but then again she was good at whatever she did.
