I was so saddened to only learn of Candace's passing today June 17, 2023. I met Candace at St Thomas in 1980 and we were close for a time. Looking back, Candace was undoubtedly one of the most passionate and intelligent persons I have ever met. Unfortunately I lost touch with Candace after moving to Ontario over 30 years ago. I would really appreciate it if I could reach out to a family member and especially her daughter Trishia if possible.
With thanks,

I'm so terribly sorry to learn of this. Candace was at UNB with me in 1990. I lost touch some years ago and had no idea until I saw this obituary. I would really like to get in touch with any family member please, especially her daughter.

My sincerest condolences to Patricia and all the family. I had known Candace for over 30 years, meeting her in Fredericton during our University days. Candace was the most caring, intelligent and thoughtful person I have known. Always thinking of other people, be it her neighbors in Marysville or assisting disadvantaged people through her social work. Candace was a true friend and a shining star who will be truly missed.

With Deepest Sympathy

Trisha, I'm so sorry to hear about Candice... just got the news through Mum. I know we've lost touch over the years, but I just wanted to say I have fond memories of Candice and visits to your house when I was small. I remember it as a lovely place and Candice as a lovely person.

I was shocked and incredibly sad to hear of Candy's passing. Father Dan Melanson had prayers for her today at mass and my sister, Joan told me the news. We had only this summer spoken of her at a family gathering. I am so sorry for Janice, Marie and Marsha as well as the rest of the Morrison family. Candy was a sweet good person and I often remember her kindness to me. My prayers are with you all. I believe that she is at peace now. Bernadette it is nice to know that she was with you. Star
