Brian Edward Parker

January 7, 1951 ~ January 20, 2018 (age 67) 67 Years Old

It is with great sadness the family of Brian Edward Parker announce his passing which occurred unexpectedly at home on Saturday January 20, 2018. Born in Saint John April 7 of 1951,he was the son of the late Perley and Mary Rita (Creamer) Parker. In his earlier days Brian served in the Canadian Air Force. After returning to Saint John he worked for Holts as a driver and for Labatt Brewery production.

He was a skilled gardener who enjoyed the outdoors and working with the earth.  His garden was heavenly and admired by many. Brian was loved and will be missed by his best friend, companion and partner Peter Chambers of Saint John; brothers Robert (Edith), Donald (Helen) both of Grandbay-Westfield and Tony (Valerie) of Oxford, NS; sister Betty McClary (Jack Wilson) of Grandbay-Westfield; ; cousins, nieces, nephews, great- nieces & nephews, his precious fur babies canine companions Mia and Lucie. Along with his parents Brian was predeceased by his brother George and sister-in-law Valerie.

By Brian’s request there will be no visitation or service. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Augustine’ Cemetery, Grandbay-Westfield at a later date.
