Brian M. Grant

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Brian Milton Grant which occurred on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born 1950, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Milton and Edith (Walton) Grant.  Brian worked for Gulf Operators as a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 30 years.  He enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time with his family.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy. 

Brian is survived by his loving and devoted wife Valerie (Abric) of 46 years; son Danny Grant (Lori), daughter Tammy Armstrong (Cory); sisters Linda Hartin (David), Vicky Raynes (Rob); grandchildren Michael Grant (Kayla), Kaela Grant and Darah Grant; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Besides his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother Daniel Grant. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, March 20th from 2 to 8 p.m.  In keeping with Brian’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
