It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our son, grandson, brother, uncle and best friend, Brandon Joseph Daviault, loving fiancé of Amanda Rideout.

Brandon lost his valiant battle with Leukemia on Friday, February 24th 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

He was born in Saint John, NB, December 1994; he was the beloved son of Mike Daviault and Roberta Crouse; cherished grandson of Jane Daviault and Joan Crouse and loving brother of Michelle Daviault and Tony Power (Briane Worden).  Brandon is also survived by his parent’s in-law, Julian and Joanne Rideout.

Additional family members left to mourn are his 4 nieces; Olyvia, Madison, Danica, Sage and 1 nephew William.

Brandon was a true life hero that inspired anyone who met him with his tremendous strength and courage to be more and to do more in their life. Although Brandon was not cured from this disease, he did not let that discourage him.

Graduating from Saint John High School in 2014 while battling with Leukemia was one of his greatest accomplishments, as well as receiving his driver’s license.

He enjoyed spending all kinds of time digging for old bottles with his father Mike who wasn’t only his Dad but best friend.   Brandon enjoyed playing hockey and basketball with, his friends in particular, Fred, Nathan, Brent, Ohmed, Terrance and Isiah.

Brandon loved his fiancé Amanda unconditionally with plans to get married and start a family someday.

During his battle with Leukemia, Brandon found strength and love through the Lord.  One of his proudest moments was accepting Jesus into his heart.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude and thanks to Dr. Comeau and the staff of 5AS (Oncology Nursing Unit) as well as 4CN at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
As well as, Pam Cooke for everything she has done for Brandon and family.

Brandon will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 27th 2017 between 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Celebration of Brandon’s life will be held from the Fundy Chapel on Tuesday, February 28th at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
