The London family lost a very special member with the unexpected passing of Billy London on February 25th at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 12, 1958 in Saint John, he was the oldest son of William (Bill) and Marina (Murray) London.
Billy was born mentally challenged and was non-verbal during his life. Though his challenges may seem like limitations to others, he lived a full and happy life in a wonderful home with friends. Billy had a personality that was uniquely his. Those who knew him, cared for him and loved him could tell you stories of his ‘singing’ when he was happy.
Billy is predeceased by his mother, Marina and father, Bill. He is survived by his brothers Brian (Sherry) and Jeff (Jenn), his nieces (Meagan, Jessica, Emily, Sarah, Claire), his nephews (Josh and Will), his aunts and uncles, many cousins and his extended family on Lockhart Street.
Billy will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Billy's life at 1:00 PM, interment at Fernhill Cemetery.
Donations to Independence Plus in Saint John in lieu of flowers would be appreciated to help them in their goal of providing exceptional care for those with developmental and physical challenges.
