Benny Bridges

UPDATED SERVICE DATES AND TIMES 

It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of “Benny” Henry Hughie Philip Bridges which occurred by accident on Friday, March 9th 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario. Benny was born in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island to Frances “Fran” (MacDonald) Cole and the late Henry P. Bridges on May 11, 1967.

To know Benny, was to love Benny. He was a role model to many and a very loving, caring and devoted friend to everyone. Benny always looked forward to visits with his family in Saint John during Christmas and summer, family was first to him. He was adventurous and loved being outdoors hiking or on his bike, he was known for being a risk taker and a dare devil. He was a devoted son, father, brother and friend and will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Benny is survived by his loving mother, Fran (MacDonald) Cole and devoted Common Law Partner Carol Ally. He will be forever missed by his children; Jennifer, Benjamin and Kyle Bridges. Benny is also survived by his sisters; Sherry Bridges, Marjorie (Scott) Perry, Ruth (Allie) Webster and Tabatha Bridges, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Benny is predeceased by his nephew Carl Lake and step father Kevin Cole.

Arrangements for Benny are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 between the hours of 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Benny's Life will be held at Fundy Funeral Home on Sunday, March 18th at 2:00 PM. 

Memorial donations in memory of Benny may be placed towards Portage Atlantic - Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Centre or New Brunswick Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
