Beatrice MacKellar

It is with great sadness the family of Beatrice (Colwell) MacKellar announces her passing that occurred on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born 1946 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Kern) Colwell. Beatrice enjoyed doing crafts and had a love for her cat, friends and her church family. She is survived by her siblings Ronald (Lois) Colwell and Janet V. Williston; best friend Cecilia Marino; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Neil MacKellar, twin sister Barbara; a sister June and a brother Douglas.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Church, 646 Westmorland Road on Sunday March 18, 2018 at 3 p.m. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Church or the donor’s choice.
