Barbara "Barb" O'Hara

The family of Barb with heavy hearts, sadness and sorrow announce her sudden and unexpected passing which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village surrounded by her loving family on January 17, 2018.  Barbie was born on April 13, 1973 to Richard and Mary (Saunders) O’Hara. Barb was a graduate of Simonds High School and Compu College.   She was a kind and gentle person who adored cats especially “Baby”. She was an avid collector of angels.  Barb was not on this earth for long, but she created a large impact on all those lives she was able to touch. She was a very devoted mother, daughter and sister and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 
Along with her loving parents, Barb is survived by her two adored sons; Evan O’Hara and Matthew O’Hara (Kirsten); one beautiful granddaughter Kaia; brother James (Lindsey); companion and friend Ed Thomas and his daughters Sky & Nicole;  as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Jeannette and Raymond O’Hara and Jean and John Saunders.; aunt Dorothy and uncles David and John.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (646-2424).  In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday January 21st, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at the O’Hara home at 92 George Street, Quispamsis.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, MS Society of Canada, or the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
